I tend to buy most of my goldwork supplies from AliExpress because I'm a bit of a bargain hunter. Shipping can take awhile though so I've included my favourite UK goldwork supply shop who get things out quicker and some Amazon links that're also a bit faster! I also use a lot of metallic Gutermann thread, I usually buy this from hobbycraft when they have a "3 for the price of 2" offer.
Recently I've been using a lot of flexi hoops, they're pretty common in the UK but I've heard they're harder to find in the US and other countries further away. I've tried to include links for lots of places, but I generally buy mine from a couple of UK suppliers, or from AliExpress if I want a more unusual shaped hoop.
My favourite beads are 2mm Seed Beads, there's thousands of places to buy these but I generally get them from AliExpress or eBay as they're the cheapest. If I need a certain colour of bead quicker than shipping them from China I usually use Amazon or Bright Star Beads as they're UK based. I also get beads from a local craft recycling store.
I have A LOT of scissors, a few are from local shops, others are from AliExpress or were sent to me by companies. My absolute favourite pair are in a necklace holder, the handiest thing ever!
I'm not that picky about thread. I usually use DMC or Anchor because a lovely lady was selling her lifetime cross stitch collection on Facebook Marketplace (always check for stitchy things there, you can get some amazing bargains!). If I do need to stock up on a certain colour of thread I usually use Love Crafts. I also occasionally use some of the knockoff brands from Amazon and eBay, they used to be a lot cheaper than they are now and they're not quite as smooth and shiny as the proper branded threads but they're otherwise decent quality. I use a lot of Gutermann threads too, which I usually get from Hobbycraft when they have a "3 for the price of 2" offer on. Other threads I have are unbranded mysteries or I've stolen them from my mums sewing box (sorry mum).
